Otto

Owner's Name: Pam Norman
Pet's Name: Otto Age: 8 Gender: Male

Illness
Date Diagnosed
Possible IBD or lymphoma
November 2003

Why I think my kitty isn't eating: I have no idea. Other than that he clearly isn't interested. I don't think he feels badly, but after a tablespoon or so, he just walks away.

Date when assist feeding began: November 2003
Feeding Technique: We do it in the bathroom where it's a close space & no interference. I get down on the floor with him & talk to him about it. He gets lots of hugs & kisses throughout.
Why I've chosen to Assist Feed:
Appetite Primer Tricks: Warm food. Clump food into a pile. Vary offerings.
Food liked best: None at the moment.
Food liked least: Most after the first few bites.
Special Treats: Whatever he will eat.

Medications, Dose/Frequency
Prednisone 7.5 mg daily
Pepcid 2.5 mg daily
Cyproheptadine 1/8-1/4 tablet twice daily

Weight
Date
